GENUINE KO

work about me

I am Genuine Ko, a junior Design major at USC Roski School of Art and Design with a minor in Music Production. I am an observer, an analyst, and a learner. Growing up across different cities, I learned to see the world from multiple angles. Everything is complexly interconnected, and everything speaks in its own language. I'm drawn to what's unspoken, unwritten, and overlooked.

Music is my biggest source of inspiration. I sing and arrange for Trogons, USC's premier East Asian a cappella group, and design social media for Band Kori, USC's one and only K-pop band. Sound, culture, and identity are always somewhere in my work. My international and multidisciplinary background keeps me open to new ideas, unexpected connections, and the kind of thinking that doesn't fit neatly into one category.
